Admission Requirements into NOUN PHD Programmes

Here's the Complete Admission Requirements For NOUN PHD Programmes


1) All applying aspirants, should please, do take note, that for the Doctor of Philosophy degree programmes, the academic institution (NOUN) senate board, has agreed and said, that all applicants must possess a masters degree in relevant fields of study from a University which is recognized by the Senate of the NOUN.

2) Each applying student must ensure, that they provide a minimum score average of not less than 60% or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5-point scale, before they will be admitted to study for their PHD degree program in noun.

3) All applying candidates should also take note, that for Ph. D Programmes admission, they will be invited personally for an interactive session with the School of Postgraduate Studies before an offer of admission is made.

4) All applying candidates are advised to forward transcripts of their academic records and the following:

Three (3) referees report, Two (2) of these referees must be from persons, which ARE very well acquainted with the candidate’s academic work, to the Dean of the School from which admission is requested.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
ALL applying candidates may be required to satisfy additional requirements by specific Schools.

Please take note, that you are required to pay as follows for NOUN application forms:

Undergraduate Programmes N5,000.00 (Five thousand naira only)
Postgraduate (PGD and Masters) Programmes N7, 500.00 (seven thousand five hundred naira Only).
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programmes N10, 000.00 (ten thousand naira only).
